i recently came across this and i was stumped.i remember years ago you could use notepad or wordpad to browser the internet without a browser.i recently fixed a laptop and when it came on there was no browser, not even internet explore. It all got deleted ,so i decided to look for a flash drive and i could not find it then my phone cable was missing, damn i was stuck.i dont understand with the search function in windows 7 there was really no browser.

i want to know was there a way to install a browser on a pc that had not browser app.
The only solution i could think of was using a phone via bluetooth and send a app across, but what if this did not work

Run powershell as admin and run. Find installer on C:

Code:
powershell -c "Invoke-WebRequest -Uri 'https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-latest-ssl&os=win64&lang=en-GB' -OutFile 'c:\\firefoxlatest.exe'"

Windows comes bundled with a browser since 2000 if not earlier.
Actually since about 1992.

It was the Big Internet Explorer vs Netscape Navigator Battle.

I prefered the first. Hated the concept when you resized the Netscape Screen, it would refresh the entire page. But some did love it.

this is what i thought would be the only solution, but what if that failed

Create a home network, download the .exe for any browser from another pc and transfer it through via network sharing

Or just go get a flash drive, seems like a lot of trouble for a simple solution. I'm sure PnP sells small flash drives

Access to browsers may have been simply removed from desktop/taskbar/start but may still be there

try left windows key + r and type iexplore
