I've got a Major Tech MTD8 geyser timer.
I know how to wire it onto the DB but I don't know how to fit it onto the DB so that if doesn't fall off.

How do I fit it on there?

There are 2 or 3 different types of rail inside dbs. You might have the wrong type.

So you need to buy an adapter to fit the din rail, or fasten a small piece over there, or use some mirror tape.

I've got two adapters, but I need one more. The trouble is that the adapters fit firmly into the rail but the timer slides over the adapter so although the timer holds onto the adapter, there is lateral movement from the timer. It's not held in place firmly.

I'll do the installation tomorrow.

Once you refit the faceplate, it should prevent the lateral movement.
