That covers the whole DB.What faceplate?
Ok, I got it.That covers the whole DB.
These adapters will work just fine though. You'll have to buy a length of DIN-rail and screw/rivet it to your backplate. Then the timer clips onto it.

There is one more thing.
This timer has 5 connections points.
Here's the installation instructions:

I don't need to connect 3 and 5, do I?
It's fine to connect live and neutral to 1 and 2 then the line to the geyser at 4.
Why must I hire an electrician?Hire an electrician.
5 must be connected.Hire an electrician.
What's an easy bypass?Make sure your timer has an easy bypass. You're going to need it with all the loadshedding.
I am confused.Connect 4 to your old geyser live trip switch out, 5 goes to the geyser. 1 you connect to the output of the trip switch on the wright. The wire on no 4 must be thick, 2,5mm minimum . 2 goes to neutral bar.
Remember to switch mains off before you start working.
Why am I not going to save money?Must say that is a very neat DB.
And now you are going to stuff it up.
You do realise by just using a timer on a geyser you are not going to save any money ?
And a new thick red wire from 4 to the current geyser trip [output].I am confused.
I take the red wire out of the exit of the geyser breaker. I put that in number 5.
I take a new red cable and connect that from 1 to the exit of the geyser breaker (the point that was removed above).
Then I connect a black cable to 2 and the neutral bar.
Where is the fourth cable??????
FFS. Get an electrician before you kill yourself. Don't mess with electricityI am confused.

Where is current geyser trip? And a new thick red wire from 4 to the current geyser trip [output].
Take another thin red wire from 1 to the output of the trip switch on the right.
I will not!FFS. Get an electrician before you kill yourself. Don't mess with electricity
Is your geyser trip switch not labeled, you need to know which one it is before you can install the timer. Check on the cover.Where is current geyser trip?
What switch on the right? That's the lights circuit.
