Installing Huawei dashboard software for E630

Can someone please help me out with how I go about installing the Huawei dashboard software for an E630 datacard on a Vista machine?

I have looked here - Huawei E630 software - and downloaded the first 2 links but they are only updates.

I don't know about Vista, but the first link (with UTPS in the name) is the latest version of Huawei Mobile Partner, and the third link (with HOST in the name) is the latest version of Huawei Mobile Connect. They are full installers including the drivers and the dashboard.

There's a long thread here debating whether HMP or HMC is better. If I had to choose between the two, I would go with HMP, and it's six months newer.

VMC 9.1 which came with my E630 was extremely buggy - used to crash just after connection. Had to use VMC 7.05 which picked up my card as E620 but it worked perfectly.

Do you know if 9.3 works with the E630 without issues?

I am using 9.3 on my machine and it works without any issues. I would however like to compare the Huawei software to the VMC software and make an informed decision on what to use after evaluating both
