So, I got tired of Vista and decided to install XP with the intention of phasing it in and eventually running as default.

I should have googled it (steps, etc) first, but I didn't.
I did however install XP on a separate location (drive D) - my HD is partitioned into 2 (Vista is on C drive).

My only problem now is enabling the dual boot - currently it only boots with XP.
So, I haven't really been able to do any work today except for googling this on the net.

I came across this great guideline "Installing XP on Vista on a Dual Boot with Pre-installed Vista", however I get stuck on the first step after installing VistaBootPRO. Under the SystemBootloader tab, I make the appropriate selections as per the instructions, however the "Install Bootloader" menu at the bottom does not appear!! I tried to restart but still no luck! Anyone who may know whats the problem or another way of overcoming this?

Eh,im going from memory now but - use the vista installation disk and have it repair the boatloader. Vista fully supports the dual boot but it needs to have its bootloader as the primary. Install VistaBootPRO and run it from vista

I dont have the stuff that came with the machine with me at the moment, we moved offices early this year (we have two offices).

Pity, I cant run Vista atm - the system only runs XP, thats why I tried to undo that with VistaBootPro.
