Instances and hunter pet

Do you people have a link to a website where i can find info on instances? Like location, lvl and where are the instances quests?

i have a hunter lvl 30, i want to know whats the best pet for a tank? one that wil keep the mobs attention.
 
Although there are newer and exotic pets that prolly would make a better tank, I still use my kitty (ghostsabre). BM spec + Kitty = Pretty decent numbers on the dps charts.
 
When i tamed a rare serpent (silver dragon around portrait) it just turned into a ordinary wind serpent, it lost all its resistances and special abilities. why is that and can i tame it somehow without it becoming weak again?

The pets are all normalized once they become tamed. So aside from unique looks it would be the same as any other wind serpent unfortunatly.
 
When a hunter trains a pet, the pet becomes small. At what level/when does the pet reach its original size?

is it possible to tame an elite beast?
 
Whats with the beast-being-small-when-tamed thing? when wil it reach it's original size again?
 
It never does.
When you tame a pet it drops to a more manageable size. The only way to increase your pets size is with temporary buffs like Bestial Wrath or certain foods or with the Devilsaur pet which has an ability which increases it's size and gives a temporary damage increase buff.
 
I recall a patch that said Pets grow as they increase in level.... I might be very very wrong though.

I have seen Pets of the same being slightly bigger if you have a hunter of level 60 + Standing in Xroads next to a level 14 or so. I might have just imagined it though.
 
Only reason I googled it is because I saw 2 guys running around in Xroads way back. And they both had boars. The same brown starting boar and the one was allot bigger than the other. As per the link it seems to be 1% per level which you will not notice but it does show if you stand next to other people of lower level.
 
hey pitbull thanks, i did see that my pet got bigger but i wasnt sure. i killed my first alliance apponent in pvp just now :P FOR THE HORDE!!

Since it's silly season and I'll be playing Alliance from the beginning of next year I've been playing around on my lock last night. Almost level 79 now :) fully rested till 80. Just doing instances and getting cloth to level Tailoring :p
 
how does the resting part work? and what do i do with honour points and where do i use them?

Honor you use to buy Items, either at the BG vendor or at the Honor Hall.
BG vendor for WSG is just north of Barrens and the Honor hall is in Origrim.

Rest, is if you are logged out on your char in an Inn. It causes your char to get rested XP which means while you have that, every kill = 200% XP
