Problem is if the left lane is moving at 100km/h and you are going at 130km/h you are continuously overtaking cars on the left lane... But yea of you stay in the right lane and can easily move over to the left and you don't then your are just being a dick.

At that speed (140 - 150 km/h) I am likely moving faster than the left lane. Tell me, HOW do you expect me to then get out of your way and merge in to the next lane when I am moving a lot faster than them? Must I now do 160/170/180/190 or whatever retard speed you want to do or must I hit the brakes, shave off 30 - 40 km/h so I can merge with the slower left lane?

And note, I am not talking about crawling in the fast lane, I'm talking about being in the right land and already moving faster than the cars on the left, as is the case in the video.

Or you could have manners and be a decent human being and get out the way. Staying in the lane when there's someone faster behind you just makes you an *******.

Yup. 3 metres at 33 m/s is 0.09 seconds. Since you won't be able to even react in under a second, never mind a tenth of a second, by the time you realise the guy in front did anything, it's way too late.

Both of you seem to think that these scenarios play out between two vehicles only and an empty freeway.

I'm doing 150 km/h in the right lane, you are up my arse. The cars in the left lane are doing 80 - 120 km/h. Can you appreciate the speed difference here? How do I SAFELY merge with them in order to get out of your way?
