Are the rubber rings going to be available for the next 10 years or so? If so why not.Instant pot seem to be a little out of my price range at the moment - what about the Milex - Power Pressure XL Pressure Cooker? https://www.takealot.com/milex-power-pressure-xl-pressure-cooker/PLID46645003

Thanks - the way I see it is if I wear it out I'll happily buy another, better, one.I think that one has a aluminium pot not a big problem but stainless will be better. Functionality wise it should be similar. I also have a cheapo and use it a lot so its showing it's age but its been worth every cent.
May I suggest this one..Thanks - the way I see it is if I wear it out I'll happily buy another, better, one.

If the R2000 InstantPot was out of my price range don't you think a R5,399.00 one might be as well?May I suggest this one..

For that I think I'll stick with the slow cooker - the pressure cooker has a slow cook mode but it seems to shine in cooking things in a fraction of the time. One of these kept me from only eating take aways as a bachelor.
Literally throw in potatoes, meat and other veg late night or early in the morning. Set slow cook, get home to a great well cooked meal.
