That uses electricity. It's called a Tankless Water Heater

You get a heat pump that gets installed in the roof and you get one that you mount on the wall for coffee and stuff like that thats called an instant urn (or something like that).

Same tech tho.

My wife has one at work, it works well but it uses quite a bit of power.

We have one of those too. But i'm referring to the shower types.

That's essentially the same thing.
They're all just elements heating the water.
You can also get the gas heaters.

Ok, I'm not looking at those, but I will be redoing my kitchen int he not too distant future, and it will have an instant gas heater installed instead of a geyser.. should end up costing me considerably less money overall.

We have a gas powered one on one of our farms. Pretty awesome. As long as there is gas there is hot water.
