But its changing. I'm actually seriously considering getting rid of my geysers altogether and replacing them with things like this.

It's actually so simple you could pretty much make one yourself if you have the basic know-how.

They're less than R2000 on gumtree.

They're selling water heaters, it's good enough that they can even write.

We have a heat pump in our building and it usually works great except on days like these where you might have to end up taking a porra shower.

a gas geyser?

I have one installed, the key things are water pressure and flow rate required depending on usage

Parents have a gas geyser and it is instant heat and they have saved huge on their electricity bill

I am installing one at end of the month.
