I'm on the hunt for new insurance and/or a new broker.
My current broker has been treating me relatively well over the past 10 years - However, it is getting expensive.
I have had 3 claims over the past 5 years two of which were hail damage and one where I reversed into a pole and stuffed my bumper. Currently my premium is R2200 for a car insured for just over R200k.
I've tried going directly to the insurers without any joy. Discovery had a great quote - but refuses to email it to me as "they don't allow their quotes to be used as a bargaining chip". Her words not mine. During the process of getting a quote from FNB, the consulted had issues with his PC and promised to call me back in a few minutes - that was 3 days ago. The quotes from Outsurance, M&F was pretty much on par with what I pay now.
Can anyone recommend a decent broker and or insurer ?
Im based in Jozi and these guys http://www.commrisk.co.za/ is just down the road from me - however I have never heard of them.
