South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
People, NOW is the time to STAND together and VOTE with your wallets.
Terminate all your vodacom and mtn contracts, and go with cellC.
And those of you who whine that it is a schlepp to change this and that, just do it, otherwise we will NEVER win this war.
War is hell.
If we don't stand up together in this, things will never change.
LOL, maybe the MoC was streaming JH's presentation & quickly called the 3 CEOs and said there is this mad oke who wants to mobilise all consumers and you should all agree to disagree before everything goes pear shaped...or not.Interesting that John Holdsworth didn't know about this when he presented at the MyBB conference in the morning - I guess he's not as close to the Minister as he'd like to be...
“I’m glad to report that mobile operators have agreed to introduce new and affordable retail products based on their reduced rates, from 1 December 2009,” said the Minister this afternoon. “I have been assured these developments will introduce more competition in the retail market. That on its own is the big early Christmas and Easter present we can give to the nation.”
For Vodacom and Cell C this cut will be implemented on the 1st of February 2010. MTN has agreed to lower its’ interconnect fee by the 1st of March 2010.
