Ive been having this issue for as long as I can remember with my macbook pro early 2011.
The wifi works for hours and days and then just doesn't work, it would connect and then loose internet, I would have to 'turn wifi off' and then on again to regain signal, this could go on for hours, off and on until I actually restart my router.
My router lan settings do not have 'South Africa' as an option so I'm left with selecting europe, or australia or n america and choosing one of there channels? Not sure if this has anything to do with the issue I'm having?
This is quite annoying especially when it happens at '85% downloaded', which seems to be more often then you think.
Any insight or assistance would be gratefully appreciated.
PS my iPhone and other devices do not have the issue to the same extent but often will just loose wifi completely but this would be common through all the device and i would have to hard reboot the router.
