I am trying to download the latest release of vmware fusion on my IS DSL account and it is downloading at 7KB/sec.
I am not surprised though, IS international is always rubbish and during office hours I might as well have dialup.

Same here. It's single digit speeds and goes up to 15 and drops down again.
I'm on 384 BTW..

I'm also on WA Prepaid (SAIX). Local is fine but International browsing is extremely slow!

Well my problem is pretty odd. Browsing seems fine but downloads suck badly. On 384 I'm getting 150k from iTunes...

My imagination or has teh internets been a bit wonky of late? Telkom in the machine?
Same here, although I frequent another site, the server is pretty fast and if it starts dragging, I know int is acting up, it reflects on google etc.

Could it maybe be the fiber they're laying or what? They're starting to dig up the roads around me..
They need to eat more fibre cos da tubes is blocked!
