International dead again

Im on an IS line and all good for me here in CPT. The only thing that looks really broken that I can see is Telkom.co.za and games.saix.net and traces to saix take ages.

EDIT...I Lie...co.za quite slow/non existant at the mo

This is happening so frequently now that soon we are going start seeing threads like: "OMG!!!1! WTF! My international access is working, I can browse non SA sites, SEACOM please respond!!?"
 
The lag on PSN is so great in KZ3 when I shoot a someone it takes near a minute to respond to log a kill, by then I was killed already without knowing it. Just unplayable.
 
So from three sites we have had reports of 5 hours, 1 hour and 2 hours until it is resolved. So which one is it really? My money is on my own estimate...24 hours :D

SEACOM is experiencing service degradation on the SEACOM network due to a fibre cut on a transmission partner’s network.

We are currently experiencing a problem with International ADSL access.
Access to International services and websites may be slow or unreachable intermittently, i.e www.facebook.com, www.cnn.com, Skype

Our engineers are investigating.

Sry guys,

Telkom upgraded my line in the early hours of this morning; 386 -> 4096 (5 years after first getting narrowband)

I think it broke the internetz :-( sry

(That's my luck, on the day I get broadband, the netz is b0rked)
 
well it's kinda working here on cybersmart but it's very ropey. had to give facebook a good few tries but it eventually worked. some sites load others don't =\
 
Well it ain't really down. If its to prevent future problems then I don't mind having crappy Internet for a few hours.
 
my steam came back(was not working for a while), and youtube,skype and speedtest was fine, was still rocking 4.8mps on speedtest :P
