International dead again

Nope, here too. It seems to be a mix though - most sites are fine, except for sites hosted in London. I'm on Afrihost (IS).

I've just spoken to the SEACOM NOC and they claim the Estimated Time to
Repair (ETR) is 5 hours from now at approximately 12:30pm.
There was no Reason for Outage (RFO) specified.

From our ISP. Fark!!!!! Again?!?!?

Yay... I'll go fap or something in the meanwhile.

Err some of us actually need to access drivers / BIOS updates for work !!! Stupid SA internet

so does everyone only use seacom now??
what happened to SAT3/SAFE?? surely there must be some backup onto those cables??

sat-3 redundancy for isp cost allot, so mostly business packages will have access on certain isp.

front page on mybb: "SEACOM biting the hand that feeds it?" - with all this down time, it makes me think seacon is feeding itself.

also, is this the part where we say "seacom is like your mom - it goes down on me all the time"?

!!!!! not working for me either. But so odd, I cant browse but I can update my steam O.o and my bittorrent works too o.O

my net is running fine,

ever so slightly slower than normal but otherwise no beeg problems. Busy with a big DL at the moment. (Behaving as a not over-shaped line)

:p that's why I don't mind paying for unshaped. When the poop hits the fan they make a plan to keep my net going with little or no interruptions.

Very slow. Afrihost website admits problems and their engineers are working on it.

Seacom connectivity is intermittent:
