Im trying really hard not to laugh my head off at this statement. not being mean to you or anything, but you do realize we live in the land of milk and honey right. where prices go up, salaries stay the same, and politicians and big business just gets richer, and fsck the man in the street. there are troubles with international internet monthly. at least with the new cable (1st quarter next year) that means less people at a time will get screwed by these regularly occurring internet issues.

HTTP international is very slooooow in Cape Town area, both Afrihost and Axxess (IS) , and SMTP/POP the same.
 
Are we still down(ish)?

There should be a central notification area for SA broadband issues. I almost had my UK server formatted just to discover it's a local problem.

SEACOM NOTE:It will take +/-2hours to repair the fault causing slow to intermittent international internet connectivity.

So are we looking at 12:30 or 14:00? :confused:
