International down on telkom, anyone else?

I find that this site helps me - choose your location and type in the IP address into your local area connection's DNS server... Friend told me about this about 2 years ago and I had it book marked. Try it and see if it helps. It helped me get Google and Gmail back on...

Pew thought it was just me. I thought it was the steam website...

Guess the extra 4 / 11 gigs is too much for telkom network :D?

really sucks

and here I was thinking of switching to telkom because although their customer service is donkey cajones, at least they don't suffer from outages with international connectivity.

Mines up, buts it the first outage i've ever had with TelkomSA

me thinks its a DNS issue there... My torrents running full speed. can barely browse anything else. In PTA
 
Heh, I just hope it's fixed by the time I wake up tomorrow.

I'm getting full connectivity to a number of international sites, but others not at all.

Same here. I can browse Facebook and other sites. But not Gmail or Google.co.za... it's so frustrating - I need both so I can do my work... ah flip...
 
gah this sucks got work to do and tax to file and need data off email, the one friday night i am not pissed there is no internet ahhhhhhhhhh
 
Yeah, my internet is also down. I was just going to start playing LOTRO :(. Facebook oddly works, but anything other international sites don't. I was so happy to hear I hhave 20GB this month - and then this happens. I'm between PE and East London
 
Still having issues here. I wish they'd keep us in the loop and let us know what's going on.
 
google services just came back up for me.

Using the proxy seemed to help me, but how does that work?
 
Still going up and down here. im in Richards Bay. Any ideas on wtf is going on?
 
Well my Telkom account finally got affected, next time I won't boast when it does not affect me.
