Since the beginning of the month I have had packet loss internationally. I have called Afrihost and also used the WhatsApp help and no one has been able to help me. They said they would contact Vumatel and no one has managed to help me. Here is an international speedtest to the UK.

I used to get 100+ upload speed to the UK and now I am barely reach 10mbps. I have a gigabit down 200 up line.

Here is my friends test (no packet loss)

Don't know what the problem is I have tried everything. I should also mention that my cousin who lives right next door to me is also experiencing the same problem that I am.

Start by getting WINMTR or pingplotter and then do traces with that it will show the loss on Vuma network

Yea loss on hop 2 so happening on Vuma network and carrying through to end destination.

Look all Afrihost can do really is log a ticket with Vuma who need to fix the issue
Yeah I have been in contact with Afrihost for the past week and have heard nothing back from them, every time I call back to check up on the fault they say that it has been restored, I made the decision on Tuesday to cancel my line with Afrihost and move to Cool Ideas. But if this problem can get fixed before the end of the month I might just stick with them. If not I am moving over to Cool Ideas and hopefully they can get this sorted out for me

Morning,

Apologies for the issues experienced.

There is loss on hop 2 which usually means an issue with the Layer 2 network.

Please can you run a continuous ping plotter to 1.1.1.1 for me and send me a pm with your email and results so I can investigate and assist further?
