After my PC started and all the connections are up (1 to Mega100WR Router and 1 to another PC) I start my openweb connection. When I open firefox it times out. When I check my openweb connection it allways shows 182 bytes received and there its stuck. Closing my openweb connection and my router connection, opening the router connection and the openweb connection again resolves the issue. But it is annoying. Does anybody know what could cause this behaviour?

I'm having a similar problem. :( Don't know if it's the issue Telkom/Verison had early the week.

I had similar issues with selected hosts at around the same time this morning on Webafrica, but the problem has resolved itself now

It cannot be my firewall. Everything works when I disable and enable my router connection, so the firewall settings is correct. It has nothing to do with my service provider connection. I have tried another and the problem persists. It looks more like the connection to the router is causing the problem. I have also checked the routing tables when it hangs and when it is working and they are the same. This all started after I upgraded my PC. New motherboard, CPU, RAM, boot drive and graphics card. Could it be a timing issue? Any bright sparks out there?

5ilverfox unfortunately the bright sparks only exist on Myadsl forums, you wont find a bright spark at telkom though..

goodluck.
