Internet Explorer 8 problem with Adobe Flash Player

Every now and then IE8 gets bunged up with Adobe Flash Player and then displays the message "Internet Explorer" has encountered and error and needs to close".

I have checked and installed the latest Adobe Flash Player, and Windows (Vista Ultimate x64) is up to date.

The Adobe website does not offer a patch/fix for the problem, and it appears that neither does Microsoft.

Anyone that might be able to offer some help please? It is really annoying...

Gee, 40 minutes since the OP and no-one has mentioned firefox or opera yet. Members must be out to lunch...

Was wondering too...but seriously I was hoping to find a solution. If not I might just have to go over to Firefox...
