Yay, when's it going to hit the repos?

Yep, IE has definitely got there in the speed, no point denying that, it is the fastest browser in terms of rendering (with the GPU) and Javascript. If you guys don't believe the tests, try it and you'll see.
There is still some way too go on the standards although it is infinitely better than IE ever has been and is creeping up to the top as well.
For most of te population, IE is the only browser. Unless you know what the Internet Browser is, other than the big blue e, there is not much else to look at. Now they've made IE9 a really good browser and will not need to be replaced by others.
Thanks for that bit of irrelevant information.
Donno where you have been the last couple of months, but IE usage share has dropped below 50% to 46% and they are losing popularity FAST.

Did you not read my post??And he comes across as a big Microsoft fanboy.
I guess nowadays simply saying that Microsoft's products aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be makes you a fanboy.
Few things that IE9 STILL haven't mastered (and why I prefer Google Chrome) :
1. The huge screen real estate IE9 steals at the top.
2. The tabs look plain ugly and dysfunctional half-way in the middle of nowhere.......and my biggest gripe....if I start closing tabs and click to close the tab, the next tab's close button should align exactly where the previous one was. That's how Chrome does it and how humans wants it to work.3. This is perhaps a bit overboard, but I really like it when I copy a URL or text and paste it into my address bar, I get the option in Chrome to "Paste and search" or "Paste and Go". Absolute genius!!
4. No extentions!!
Already four deal-breakers without thinking hard.
Sorry Microsoft, just not good enough.
No, it doesnt, but your replies about IE9 and Windows Phone 7 do.
Ok, so it's once you defend two excellent products that you become a fanboy. Will keep that in mind and only defend one at a time in the future.
Thanks for the tip!
List any number of things that makes IE9 superior against the other web browsers, from your personal experience.
Then I might take the fanboi comment back.

I hate the fact that the status bar does not tell you when pictures / other things are still loading. It's driving me mad.
Yes, that's quite an irritating thing, for sure. Never know if it's still busy / loading or not. No point having the status bar enabled withouth that.
