Internet Reset Loop

I need some assistance with my Internet please guys.So this what's happening

My Internet resets itself every 5-10 mins.The adsl light goes dead for a few mins then flashes green gets steady green then the Internet light starts flashing red till a steady red for few mins then goes to flashing green.
Then after about 15mins this cycle repeats.Been doing this this since yesterday morning.

What I did so far is reset the router no help.

What should I do next ? try a other account ? contact Telkom ? or try a other router ?

I would consider calling telkom and having your ADSL line number and home address, then ask them to reset your line for you and if that does not resolve the issue consider logging a fault with them. Be reminded you may want to try another router beforehand.

What's the quality of the voice side of the line like - no dial tone, noisy, can you phone your number?

Check your phone filters. Don't forget one for your alarm system if applicable.
