Internet Solutions and MWEB deal approved

I don't like mweb... But I liked IS.... My brain hurts

This is going to be a game changer

How so?
MWeb's consumer services are not part of the deal so all the ADSL users won't be affected.
MWeb is probably just selling off the non-profitable portions of their business.

As a Mweb business premium 4mb customer, how will this affect me if at all? Not that I torrent 500gb a month..but assuming I did, would I experience less day time shaping? *crosses fingers*

Read the post above yours, it doesn't affect you at all, a different part of the business is being sold.

Well it depends on who MWEB Connect decides to partner with now to deliver their connectivity. If as part of their deal, they retain access to the IS (ex-Optinet Networks) IPC, then nothing *should* change.

Of course if MWEB decides to resell another ISPs connectivity, a lot could end up changing.

From what I understand mweb home users will remain untouched. Only business dsl accounts and other business products like Mweb Talk, leased lines, etc will be taken over by IS.
