Internet speed - very slow

Yip, it was dead before crimping. Then the slow issue.

I meant crimp it again...you just need one of the8 wires to be missed on the crimp or wrong way around or something. Just crimp it again and make 100% sure it isn't something silly like that.

Oh yes I did it more than once on both ends. First time that I noticed slow internet I crimped a new plug. Still slow internet and I crimped a new plug router end as well. I even went up a bit further in the line hoping I’d cut out any compromised area.

the cable is old though, might as well replace with some cat6 since I’ve got some.

Ah, my bad. I was going to say that I stayed in one of the double-story townhouses there and I only had the router (that comes with the house) in the garage which covered the entire house

Cool. Which router did they use though, and how was the speeds upstairs? I do get coverage from the downstairs unifi, but It’s a concrete floor so not the best.
