Rather contact steam and inform them that you've taken the game back and gotten your money back because they took too long. At least this way your account won't get suspended if someone else tries to retrieve that cd-key using the same disks.

Well, I emailed steam to change to account. I didn't feel guilty, but rather felt I'd rather not have someone else get stuffed around as I did due to an immoral tosser, and I don't think other people would act as I did (R500!!!).

I think you'll find Makro will bin the game and Steam maybe will assign new keys.
