Yes, It will work but there are other options, start a thread about it so that we can continue the discussion there.

honestly i am confused there is a lot of info on the webs for batteries inverters and what new buyers should get and shouldnt get but it is mostly useless as we live far away from youtubers god amazon

without amazon and accessing online stores that is in our country what is the best

i dont want to get a coc installers and all that stuff just something that works out of the box no need for solar as it is unaffordable

this is what i am looking into getting and i like the mecer as it is brand name

Mecer 1kW 12V pure sinewave Inverter is the one i am thinking of getting but the others look good as well

Ellies Power Inverter/ UPS System 1440W/2400VA 24VDC to 220VAC Ellies
KAPA Energie-1000 1000W Pure Sine-Wave UPS Inverter with 100ah battery incl
Mecer 2400Va 24V Battery Centre + Inverter

is pure sinewave better then modified sinewave because i dont see a lot of these trolly inverters with pure sinewave on it but does it even matter

All those overpriced and comes lead acid batteries that be dead in 6 months or less.

Buy a mecder 720watt inverter and hubble s100/s120 battery.

i am told buy the solar people that i need this

they say it is the only thing that can handle a box freezer but i dont know if i can diy it does it need a coc

these battery box things are cheaper
I also saw this

Cant give any advice or if it is a good product
i like them but the solar people say any of these inverters must be installed by them

I dont have a chest freezer atm, otherwise I would have measured the following:
Startup, and average running in kWh. I can tell that at night, with only outside lights and 3 fridges, I can go as low 200watts per hour. But fridges usage will spike, so there is that.

You wont need a COC, for a standalone unit, where the appliance plug in directly.

Can you maybe give the model of the chest freezer?

For some odd reason I can't seem to find the other kit, there is one with a battery inside the cabinet and an inverter on top with plugs and a isolator, I can't remember the brand, used to pop up all the time when I do a search.

Also pure sine wave for freezer (or anything with a motor).

Why do you need to power a freezer during loadshedding? As long as you don't open it continually it will stay cold.
I thought of this as well;

If they live in area where they get extended blackouts, a small inverter and battery aint going to cut it.

If it just for load shedding, then just keeping the lid/door closed will be enough.

Another option is a generator, which can easily run the fridge, the adenorff macafric brand, which I personally own, easily ran the fridges, desktop pc, pumps etc with no issues.

a year ago our freezer died because load shedding and i want to prevent that so i figured this would be a solution also many times our power will stay out overnight we did get a generator MAC AFRIC 6.3 kVA (5 KW) Standby Petrol Generator

put these on your fridge/freezers, it will protect them from brownouts and power spikes:

Although you haven't really specified what you are trying to achieve, I assume it's to watch tv and stuff during loadshedding in which case, get a trolley setup for your tv and stuff, select upgrade to lithium option:

You dont really give much details. A generator is probably the easy way to go but anoying as its not automatic and makes a lot of noise.

I run a small box freezer, bar fridge fish tank, lights, router and 3 access points, tv from a 3kw inverter and 4 deep cycle batteries and it lasts through a 4 hour load shed. I added 2 solar panels to help with longer power issues and spare the batteries a bit but it worked fine without the panels for about a year.

not much details to give all we wanted was backuppower that we can just turn on and use i mean that is what everyone wants solar will be nice but we cant justify the loan right now

so the more cycles a battery can do the better it is am i right the price on it is good

Its hard to recommend something if we dont know what devices and how many. You mentioned freezer which means you need a true sine wave inverter and a bit bigger as the startup current will be higher but we have no idea of the others.
