Well most websites on iOS is buggy, you'd think the guys who pioneered HTML5 would have better support for it.

Pornhub on Firefox, WiFi breaks it on Safari.... or so I hear

Definitely youtube related, but it works on Android so there must be some kind of limitation hy ios or do you think it's Google trying to get people to ditch ios and go android by offering exclusive features for Android

Apple releases iOS 14.7.1 with fix for Apple Watch unlock bug, more

Apple is releasing iOS 14.7.1 to the public today, exactly one week after the release of iOS 14.7. This comes after some users found that their iPhone did not automatically unlock their Apple Watch after updating to iOS 14.7.1 last week, which today’s update fixes. Apple is also releasing iPadOS 14.7.1 today.

Today’s new release iOS 14.7.1 is available via an over-the-air update in the Settings app. As usual, if the update does not immediately appear for download, keep checking, as it sometimes takes a few minutes to roll out to all users. The build number for today’s release is 18G82.

iOS 14.7 was released one week ago, and it brought a handful of notable changes to iPhone users: support for the MagSafe Battery Pack for iPhone 12, support for combining Apple Card accounts, a new timer management feature for HomePod users for the Home application, and more.

The update also introduced a bug affecting the integration between iPhone and iPad, which Apple explained in a support document:

When you have Unlock with iPhone turned on, unlocking your iPhone unlocks your Apple Watch as long as you’re wearing it. An issue in iOS 14.7 affects the ability of iPhone models with Touch ID to unlock Apple Watch.

Apple promised an update for this issue last week, and that is what is now rolling out to iPhone users. Apple writes in the release notes:

iOS 14.7.1 fixes an issue where iPhone models with Touch ID cannot unlock a paired Apple Watch using the Unlock with iPhone feature. This update also provides important security updates and is recommended for all users.

Apple releasing iOS 14.8 and iPadOS 14.8 to the public today​

Apple is releasing iOS 14.8 to the public today for iPhone users, just days before we expect iOS 15 to also be released to the public. Analytics and Xcode data had previously suggested that iOS 14.8 was in development, and sure enough, it is rolling out now alongside iPadOS 14.8.

The build number for today’s release of iOS 14.8 is 18H17. You can update your iPhone by going to the Settings app, choosing General, then choosing Software Update. Apple is also rolling out iPadOS 14.8 for iPad users today as well.

Notably, iOS 14.8 was not beta tested, so this is a surprise release for users. Apple’s release notes for the update simply say it “provides important security updates and is recommended for all users.”

Last year, Apple released iOS 13.7 on September 1, just two weeks before the release of iOS 14 to the public on September 16. Something else to consider this year is that Apple has already announced that it plans to give users a choice between updating to iOS 15 as soon as it’s released, or staying on iOS 14 but still receive important security updates.

I have and its okey, cant wait for 15 though

iOS15 R0x0rs... Love the Focus modes and notification digests. Everything else seems to work a bit better \ smoother too.

Was hoping the series 7 had better battery though, but seems they could not get it working and then hastedly did the back up design.

so I think if you have 2020 products is better to wait, nothing in this line up is worth getting except the M1 imac is nice, screen is too small & no ports but its okey.

Let’s home they do an actual M2.. else they will suffer with sales across the board. This is gonna impact stock exchange and will be interesting to watch what happens.

Nothing worth buying unless you on an older than 202 product.
