The first few days after a major update will be rough on the battery. Everything needs to be reindexed etc
Compare the 2 versions after a week or so

I'm holding off from updating for now. Most likely update when 17.01 is released.

Change your region, it doesn't prevent anything else working.

Anyone in UK got Live Voicemail working?

I’m in UK and on O2 contract. Live voicemail is turned on in settings but if someone rings me there’s no option to push them to voicemail and I don’t see anything on Lock Screen. Likely a bug but I’m curious if anyone has gotten it working?

It works!!!!

It struggles with the accent a bit - hence the like instead of live...

Yep, so it seems it doesn’t go to the carriers voicemail service anymore?

Always wondered what that voicemail option was for.

You're right, it's all handled on the phone, that is also why you can answer the call midway through the caller leaving a message if you decide you do want to speak to them.

Spam callers tend not to leave messages though.

Phone, iPad, ATV, Watch all updated.

Standby mode is ace!
Love that I can now find the pesky ATV remote - it's forever 'disappearing'
Like the new way to change clock faces
Testing the keyboard (was using GBoard) - wish they'd give you the option of an 'all black' colour scheme (like the GBoard one)

On the bright side, I can opt to never answer calls from unknown numbers unless it's legit (and they usually leave a message)

I used to have my phone silence all unknown numbers, but I ran into a few issues when people I actually want to speak to phone me back
 
Anyone got the Custom Call poster to work correctly?

Updated to iOS17 ... was gonna try this out ... I checked how you do this but I just have the Toggle for Hey Siri on or off, not the option to chose one of the 3 options like this. I have an iPhone 12 - I don't recall seeing it was phone model specific or if it was one of the things that was delayed. Not that I'n too worried was just confused where it was. Anyone else got it? Was it just there?

Had the same situation, you have to change the language to English (USA). Mine was on English (South Africa).

I now have those three options.

No luck myself... Have this:

Should have the option to listen for "Siri" or "Hey Siri"
