two weeks into using the new and improved ios 4.2.1 and my troubles began.

Apps crash randomly. Mail/Calendar with a outlook account does not update as before.

Done everything from restarting to restoring. Restoring gave me relieve for 4 days then it was back to the crashing of apps within as little as 1 second of opening them.

Anyone experienced this... more importantly any ideas on how to fix.

Found the solution, but it ain't making no darn sense!!!

Some extensive googling got me to some issues with email accounts on iPad with iOS 421.

I removed my outlook account, restarted the device.

It's been 2 hrs now and no issue...

Okay, I have done some extensive tests and observations now on serveral iDevices:
iPhone 3g
iPad 3g/Wifi
iPod Touch 4th gen

After having configured a 2003 outlook account the devices misbehave. Appears to be specific to the single account... looks like my mailbox has some corruption as other mailboxes from the same server give zero issues. Will only be able to test my theory when I am back at work in January.

WELL MY SOLUTION FOR NOW IS TO:
- remove the account from my devices

Yes I've never seen any instability or bugginess on any Android phone ha ha ha ha :p

LOL!
Selling my Samsung Galaxy S and getting iphone 4 was best thing i ever did.
Love my iphone and the SGS cant be compared sorry,if you want endless trouble get android yes.

On a side note, just noticed iOS 4.2.1 is fully IPv6 enabled by default, stateless autoconfig et al.

Tested a few of the major sites, and all working good ...

ipv6.google.com
www.v6.facebook.com
ipv6.cnn.com

Okay, running scanost.exe solve the crashing app issue.
in our program files/microsoft office/office12 you will find this program.
you must run it from the PC (not IPAD) where your outlook client is installed.
this corrects any errors in your outlook account that results in polling issues that affect most apps on the IPAD as poling these poling issues interupts any running app on the IPAD.
--- thanks to some advance googling I managed to find this solution --- AND IT WORKS for me.
