It is meant to be quite CPU intensive, i would have at least thought though that you should be able to get it on the ipad 2!

It is meant to be quite CPU intensive, i would have at least thought though that you should be able to get it on the ipad 2!

had the same error,go check your hosts file for an entry regarding apple...

Its empty, but thanks for the help, trying DFU mode now!
Also waiting patiently... tethered has been working fine the last week so I'm in no hurry to get untethered
also got that error now, has something to do with iTunes not being able to contact the server....Just keep trying to restore, it will make it through at some point, servers are very busy

Your download may have been corrupted. Did you download using a direct link?

first one i used was a direct download using dTa now i tried restoring it using the itunes download and it is still not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could my phone be like totally broken from the jailbreak? anyone know a fix for 3004 error code besides telling me to look at apple support?

Took a look at my itunes account last night and saw there was an update to version 5 so I updated it. I then thought that maybe the update might be ready for my ipod and I was right and it took 6 hours to update and finished at 2.30am this morning.
I was getting an internal error with that code last night. I looked up the code on Apple support. They gave me a line of text that I had to enter into system cmd prompt. Something to do with "uncache". After I entered that line of text, I retried, and bingo...the update worked, and I am running on 5.0 now
