IOS 6......Finaly

took me 22 minutes to download last night at 19:30.

siri is really *****..... you want to send e-mail to who.....lol

Must be your accent. :)

Also installed.

Had a wee quibble when the installer tried to connect to apple.com (for post-install comfiguration) and I had all web browsers blocked except Mozilla Firefox. (This was to prevent IE users going out and getting blapped by the latest 0day exploit).

Added the ipad's IP to an exemption list, and the installer was happy.

So far I haven't seen anything new, except the "do not disturb" feature in settings.

The phone keypad looks crap, I prefered the old black one.

That's one of my favourite new features because I can now use it as an alarm clock without having to worry about messages waking me up. It's also handy because they've finally added a clock/weather/timer app - Sherlocking a boat load of app developers in the process.

I keep getting "Account Not In This Store - Your account is not valid for us in the U.S. store" - worked fine before update... anyone know wtf is up?

Just log out of your account and then back in again?

Not having to constantly authorise app updates is nice.

Strange - I've just switched between accounts without a problem.

Found the problem - it was an app downloaded with the South African account, that was now trying to update with a US account.

That will do it - I run my main account on my iPad but I still have a legacy US account that one or two apps require so I let iTunes manage that one.

Set up using static ipaddress, turn auto brightness off if it is on and download the YouTube app from the AppStore.

You could also just navigate to YouTube in safari then choose the add bookmark to home screen option.

Still annoying, youtube was the main reason for my ipad. i rebooted the ipad and it seems to be smooth again. as for the wireless issues, seems to lose connection with my router once in a while... not sure what to make of it as ios5 had no issues

EDIT: Meh, the iphone youtube app sucks... sigh, safari it is...

Lol, settings>general>network>wifi and to the right of your network name touch the little arrow and choose the static ipaddress option. Ipads a lot happier on static.

Safari YouTube home screen bookmark option works surprisingly well.

Edit: YouTube iPad app should be out soon.
