iOS 6 probably won't go down in history as a revolutionary update, but fortunately it's anti-tamper measures don't seem to have changed much either. The iPhone Dev-Team has already managed to get its redsn0w tethered jailbreak working, at least for the A4-powered iPhone 4, 3GS and 4th-gen iPod touch, and you'll find full instructions as well as a healthy list of caveats at the source link below. As to how long it'll take to get some Cydia action on the iPhone 5 and other fresher devices and without the hassle of tethering, place your bets here.

Wot? My sammy got more than one keyboard, but ipad still have the usual normal/split keyboard. Isn't there other keyboard layouts?

You are most likely logged into the iTunes store - you must go to the App Store and change your log in details.

Is anyone else having a problem with the WiFi disconnecting on the iPhone 4s updated with iOS 6.0 GM? Mine keeps loosing the connection. My iPad 3 does not have the same problem.
 
If any of you are having second thoughts about iOS6 download tinyumbrella NOW while the shsh signing window is still open and save your blobs. It will allow you to downgrade later if you want.

Maps arent great but my battery life on the new iPad seems to be as good as it was with 5. Siri rocks though.
 
My iPad went missing :( had it within 3km of home... stopped somewhere...went inside for 5min... came out... went home, now its gone :(

Also only showing on Find My Phone at 12:36pm yesterday at the office, went missing at 5:30pm with 60% battery. Go figure.

how long did it take you to update?, left mine overnight, it went half way, then failed

I updated as soon as the GM was leaked so it was pretty fast. :o
 
So what are the differences between iOS 6 on iPad 2 and iPad 3?

I see iPad 2 doesn't have hotspot and Siri - anything else?
