iOS 6 maps app voice navigation in SA

Don't upgrade to iOS6 yet, just because of the new map applet.

There's still lots of lovely issues which need sorted out. Wifi is one of them.

My wifi at business connects with no trouble but at home it simply won't connect! I even tried changing the regions on my router but to no avail.

Have you tried changing the channel?

What I miss from the old Google maps is the street view, and the general layout of the maps - rendering, colouring, accuracy etc was much better for me. I have a street in my suburb that goes into our lake in the iOS 6 MAPS...

You really prefer the old rendering? The vector graphics in the new app are a no competition winner over the raster graphics of the old map for me.

I use the TomTom app from the Apple Store. Although pricey, it is the best app for me. It is updated all the time and I have no difficulty finding any POI's. I prefer it above my new BMW navigation. I do miss the streetview in Apple maps though.

I just gave the turn by turn a shot and it worked pretty well - I changed routes a few times to see how well it kept up and it handled it without a hitch.

I'll still probably use my tomtom but for someone without turn by turn it's a good addition to maps.

I changed the Region(Europe) and Channel(12) on my router and wireless connection was immediately activated on my iPhone, Thanks

So why not use an alternative?

iFindVIew offers the exact same streetview as the old iOS 5 Apple Maps.
