So who is going to test the new version for the iPad 2 and tell me if it works :)

The jailbreak itself buggy or just a lot of tweaks that need to be updated, I think most things will be fine when MobileSubstrate finally gets updated, or is something else wrong?
 
Both! JB and tweaks! A few reports of bootloops and stuck on Apple logo etc etc etc both after jailbreaking and/or after installing tweaks.

The process itself is as straight forward as clicking your mouse. Restoring via DFU mode also isn't an issue should something go wrong with the JB process, so nothing more than a minor inconvenience! Just make sure you've made a backup via iTunes/iCloud.

With Apple obviously still signing 7.0.4 a factory reset/restore/re-installation is not a problem! Bricking an iDevice is near impossible! Infact you would have to be quite talented to brick an iPhone/iPad/iPod.
 
Thats the reason I havnt yet jailbroken - actually this time I might not :/ The only thing I ever used JB for was iAP Cracker, but seeing that we now have a SA store, I might not need it
 
Yeah, I would still do it if I were you. Other than the possible need to do a restore there's very little risk of anything going wrong!
 
Spoke too soon I guess, things will be better now,

Via saurik's twitter:

"Substrate 0.9.5000 has been released, with support for iOS 7 and ARM64. (For extensions to work on ARM64, they must be recompiled to ARM64.)"
 
Having issues in iPad 2 3G.

Did a fresh restore to 7.0.4. JB. updated Cydia. Restored backup and now the Cydia icon is missing. Seems to be a common problem after a quick google.

Did exactly the same on iPhone 5 with no issues.
 
Got to wonder about their advertising partners. Found this on the evasi0n site :/

iPad 3 wifi + 3G iOS 7.0.4
Everything has been working fine, still struggling with an inApp purchasing app, iApfree I believe has been discontinued and localiapstore crashes my apps when I try to make a purchase. I'm going to have another go at it after the new year festivities.

Many of the Apple in App purchasing APIs have been enhanced (online iTunes store purchase validation), which means I doubt this is still going to work on any apps that have recompiled to the iOS 7 framework.

iPad 2 jailbroken with 1.0.2 with zero issues, not one single reboot or weird battery drain, the beta will most likely become the final.
 
Did it this morning on iPad 3 , only app I wanted was MXTube , nice app to download youtube videos
