With the evolution of iOS I'm seeing less and less reason to jailbreak.

That's odd! Sounds like a faulty charger/cable. Are you charging using original Apple cable and adapter and are connecting to wall socket or usb?

Got bad news for you, JB is evolving too!! Have a look at CCControls for a good example.

I'm not saying no reason, I said less and less, I already have both those installed, I'm just saying iOS has a lot of old tweaks built in now, the only must haves I currently need is SwipeSelection, Adblocker and something to speed up animations.

That being said if anyone knows of or comes across anything like Data Counter for iOS 7 I would be so happy, all I need is the speed counter like this:

Both! JB and tweaks! A few reports of bootloops and stuck on Apple logo etc etc etc both after jailbreaking and/or after installing tweaks.

The process itself is as straight forward as clicking your mouse. Restoring via DFU mode also isn't an issue should something go wrong with the JB process, so nothing more than a minor inconvenience! Just make sure you've made a backup via iTunes/iCloud.

With Apple obviously still signing 7.0.4 a factory reset/restore/re-installation is not a problem! Bricking an iDevice is near impossible! Infact you would have to be quite talented to brick an iPhone/iPad/iPod.

The Boot-loop is an issue when guys have updated the iOS untethered. If any of you have updated to iOS 7 using WiFi, chances are you will get the boot-loop issue. You will have to do a DFU restore from backup which takes a painfully long time. As for bricking an iPhone, I have 'unbricked' every 'bricked' iPhone that my mates have 'bricked'. I am yet to meet someone that has bricked a phone that needs to be thrown away.

I am still on JB iOS 6. After playing around with iOS 7 on other devices and waiting patiently for the 7 JB, I am going to update my phone to iOS 7 and JB tonight. Can't wait :)

iPad 2 jailbroken with 1.0.2 with zero issues, not one single reboot or weird battery drain, the beta will most likely become the final.
Yeah I think I'm going to go ahead. Need to update before the 7.1 update from Apple gets released

Get yourself a udid and install 7.1b3 and jailbreak that. Edit the systemversion.plist and you good to go..

Wouldn't advise this, betas are time locked (at some date it'll lockup) + there's a very good possibility that Apple's going to patch the JB before 7.1 is finalized, so if you want to be assured to keep your JB, safest bet is to stay on 7.04

Agree, 7.0.4 is the safest bet but there is a work around to run 7.1b2 indefinitely which involvs editing the systemversion.plist.

Updated to 7.0.4 and JB. Lost most of my apps but it's good. Installed Hidden, AppSync and VShare so far. Will start with tweaks soon :)
