I think you need to do an itunes update first or update your device "Over the air" using WiFi.

Hmm wierd. iTunes 10.0.5 gives me the same problem so you're not alone.

I also get an "Access denied" error from iTunes 11.1 when I try to download...

Working now.... I still cant help but think this would all work better is they had a single package rather than a different one per apple device.
