Lets start a tips thread

New: when in settings , you dont have to click the back button in the top left corner example PRIVACY>SETTINGS to get back to the main menu you can now just swipe on the left hand side and you will go back towards the main settings page as you swipe through the menu system

This is my favourite. Instead of switching off cellular data completely, you can select which apps are allowed to use it.

And that's it folks!

Close the thread ;)

I like the fact that you can block numbers now.

I had a telemarketing company phone me 3 times yesterday from a 0319417778 number.

I eventually blocked their number.

Unlimited safari tabs!!!!! Finally

Not a big fan of the new tab system on iPhone - you have to follow where it goes to in the "pack" to close it, last views doesn't default to middle or front or something.

TIP: swipe tabs to left to close in stead of tapping "x"

In iMessages when you swipe to the left the time the message was sent/received is shown. Also the swipe from the left bezel to go back is a system wide feature.

Could you always 'create' different "inboxes" under iOS 6? I might simply have missed that feature?

Loving it - having an "All Trash"; "Attachments"; "All Sent"; "Unread" and "Flagged" as inboxes, to collect all the emails from all of my accounts, just like in the Smart Mailbox folders in OSX is super useful... Also makes group-marking etc. that much easier...
