iPad 2 Prepaid Sim for USA

Does anyone have advice wrt a prepaid sim for data use in the USA.

I will be there for a week, and want to get a prepaid sim for my iPad 2

IIRC ATT and T-Mobile are 3G so maybe wait until you get there to see who has the best coverage in your area?

Thanks,,, AT&T and T-Mobile both give good coverage on the East Coast. It really boils down to which package to get. There are also a number of virtual operators which muddies the waters more. Some packages require an sms to be sent to activate the sim - obviously this won't work with the iPad.
