Ipad 3 keeps on going on edge

After the new update my ipad keeps on going on edge and then i have to switch it off and onn to get it back to 3g. when i go move to a my home it goes back to edge and i have to repeat the prosess. Any ideas??

Have you rebooted the device since the update?
Also, try resetting the network settings + reboot. Should correct the issue.

all the settings is correct.

However, go into network setting and reset them.

Settings -> General -> Reset - > Reset Network Settings.

i did that as well. still doing the same thing. as soon as i move it goes to edge. thanks for trying to help

Sounds like a H/W issue then.

Take a trip to the iStore and see what they have to say. It will still be under warranty.

Are there any carrier bundle settings that can be applied to give the option to choose between 2G or 3G connectivity?
(I was able to follow Morkhans guide to enable the hotspot functionality before the IOS 7 update)
I have a consistent problem with my iPad 3rd gen which defaults to a stronger Edge signal when there is a usable 3G signal.
I can not jail break my iPad as it is a company owned device.

I found that if I have LTE enabled it some times reverts to Edge instead of 3G. Try turning LTE off and see what happens.
