I am currently staring at `n blue screen infinite reboot loop on my Ipad Air running IOS8. I have allready tried a hard reset and reset and recovery is on my todo list.

Does anybody have some experience to share in regards to this problem?

Very strange indeed. I had no issues what so ever updating my iDevices. Take it to an iStore and see if their techies can breathe some life into it?

Trying to restore via DFU mode and iTunes didn't work. Now I need to find the time to go through to an iStore.

after the update on my ipad 3 I have some problems. Random closing of my browser. Browser open but there is no web contents.
Have to press the home button a couple of times to wake up or close.

When you say didn't work - what exactly happened? Any specific error messages? By the way, are you sure you went into DFU mode? (Screen must appear completely black, and iTunes picks it up to restore, for it to be in DFU mode). If it is in recovery mode, it will show a "connect to iTunes" logo on the screen which is incorrect.

To enter DFU mode:

1. Plug your device into your computer with a USB cable.
2. Turn off the device.
3. Hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
4. Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds.
5. Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button.
6. After about 15 seconds you will be alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode.

IStore decided it was a hardware failure and replaced the unit.
