iPad digitiser

My iPad goes haywire after a while - like I'm touching the screen when I'm not.
This happened before I fixed the glass and the two subsequent times I did so again - admittedly once I cracked the screen out of pure frustration. The bloody thing is useless when it jumps all over the place.
So I'm guessing its not the digitiser?

It is the digitizer,the cheap quality ones will do that after a while,which ipad do you have and where are you situated?
