Hi all...

just need some advice. purchased the awesome ipad. just having difficulty syncing it to itunes.
i have the latest version of itunes and the ipad os installed. my itouch and ipad sync perfectly. but when i try to sync the ipad, it says it cant read thecontent off my ipad and that i must restore. i tried that thrice already and its still not wotking. also tried different usb ports, etc, the whole shebang...

im using windows 7 home premium 64 bit...

any ideas on fixing this problem, or should i just return it for a new one?

thanks

Two possible solutions -
1. Is your iTunes the latest version of that software ? iPad is a very new device and perhaps your version of iTunes does not support it.
2. This is a real flyer, but possibly you have a South African iTunes store account, and that is interfering. If you setup iTunes to also have a USA iTunes account, try being connected to the USA iTunes store account when doing your sync.
I don't have my iPad yet, so those are just guesses. I will collect my iPad on tuesday from one of the Apple stores in the Chicago area....can't wait

Thanks surfs up. Set up a us iTunes account and it synced first time...
This is the most awesome device ever...
It's what I imagined the future would be like when I watched demolition man and total recall as a kid... Totally changes the way you use the web...
Thanks again for the help

Ps posted from my (wife's) new iPad!!!

I was quite surprised by how the speakers make the whole back of the iPad vibrate. Is this normal or just a fault with the iPad I got to try out?
I wonder if adding some acoustic padding to the voids around the speakers would make any difference?

i cant say that i noticed the ipad vibrate with music. i tried turning it up to the maximum with dance/pop/opera and used different EQ setting but it still felt quite solid...
