iPad : Make Gmail default

Is there anyway to make it a default account?

When someone sends me an email address in - for example - Facebook and I click it, it opens the standard email program instead of Gmail.

Any way to change that?

Do you want gmail to be the default account or the default app? :confused:

I just want to be default ;)

When I click an email address, it must send using dolby@gmail

No, it's not.

It's a simple matter to make the gmail the default account in the Mail app.

On the other hand if you're wanting the gmail application to be the default email application I don't think it's possible unless you're jailbroken.
 
Oh I see what you're saying.

I wanted the Gmail app to be default actually. So what you are saying is delete the app - and add the account details in the standard mail program and I can make that default?

You don't have to delete the gmail app but the rest holds true.

FWIW the mail app gets better in iOS7 ;)
