LOL, Insane. If Apple could charge you rent for entering their store, they would.

Hardly worth it if the wifi adapters cost almost as much as the price difference between the 3G and wifi only models. Something else to carry, something else to keep charged, something else to lose! :)

True, but if you've got multiple wifi devices... Simpler to just have one SIM (with the option of a second one) instead of a SIM for every device :p
 
16GB wifi is a lot more expensive than the Nexus 7 16GB - but will have to see what the other specs are.

Nexus has a 1280*800 display, will the iPad mini be better ?

I hope Apple is aiming the bar higher than the Nexus 7, it shouldn't be difficult imho.

The build quality lower than what I've come to expect based on the three generation of iPads I've owned.
