iPad Shortage

Does anyone have a clue as to why there is a shortage of iPads at all stores?

I’m specifically looking for a pro 128gb wifi & cellular which retailed at 18999 but no stock, now the price has gone up by 2000.. still no stock
 
Uhm darling, so there was this thing called covid a couple years back, The world had to shut down which has unfortunately caused a shortage of a lot of things, Even iphone 14pros are nowhere to be found, I am going to assume you were born after 2020 or you just woke up from a long term coma.

There is a possible Mac and iPad event happening this month (or Press Release), my assumption (outside of Covid-19 supply chain issues) is that they have cleared stock of the current Pros and waiting for stock for 2022 iPad Pros.
Is it only the Pros that are out of stock or everything including Air 2022?

This and last I checked, the pros are still in stock on the website

Uhm darling, I’m very much aware of what’s going on around me. Myself and a few others have been able to get 14 Pro Max’s without hiccup, M2 Airs and M2 Pro’s are in stock, Apple resellers are pushing out new products like it’s no one’s business, my question is specifically regarding the iPad Pro. The M1 air is in stock as well as the 6th gen Mini.

You can go back to trolling forums as I see you have nothing better to do with your life.

Uhm well darling just because you got the 14 pro without hiccups doesn’t mean there is an abundance of stock available, guess what somebody also got an iPad Pro without hiccups yet there you are struggling to source one.

Thanks for the life tip though, I shall get back to my trolling “DARLING”

I didn’t go to one store and decide to ask questions. I’ve called and been to most resellers in Johannesburg and they are only struggling with the pro iPads, so my question was why that one specifically. Most others are fine.

Tsepz’ reply was helpful, yours just proved that you have nothing better to do so you took the time to post BS

There has been a shortage of the better models for some time now. I have been on a waiting list for most of a year with nothing coming through. By now I will wait for the new models. This has put me off pre-ordering any Apple devices.
 
I got my 12.9" pro on Saturday after about a 3 month waiting period fwiw

Current model suites my needs quite fine, though tbh I haven't been following the updates and not sure what I may be missing out on.
