It's an old iPad and can't be updated, probably an iPad 2 or 3.

yeah it is, i think its a 2015 model or something

can jailbreaking help ?

Unfortunately not. It's stuck on that version for the rest of it's life. Best bet would be to try find a secondhand newer iPad. Something that was made in the last 3 years or so.

  • iPad Air 2.
  • iPad Air (3rd generation)
  • iPad (5th generation)
  • iPad (6th generation)
  • iPad (7th generation)
  • iPad Mini 4.
  • iPad Mini (5th generation)
  • All iPad Pro models.

I had an iPad 3 that was jailbroken and there is a tweak that ignores the system requirements on the app store but it never worked.

The apps are made with frameworks not available on iOS 9.

The best you can do is try and watch through Safari.

If the Apple ID associated with the iPad is also used on a newer device where the apps are compatible, download them on the newer device. When you search for those apps on the older device using the same Apple ID the apps should be available to install....

Netflix wont work by the way, use to work but stopped working on mine over a year ago
ipad2 is only good for browsing internet, checking email and playing music

Other than that it is worth fokkoli

Came in expecting some miracles. I’ve got a small pile of these and I’m just waiting for the current ones to reach the same end of life.
I just don’t have the funds to replace something that’s function is purely for entertainment.
