So I have this Upgrade due from Vodacom, and I called I.Connection regarding a IPad. This guy told me that I could upgrade to a Ipad 32g at the same rates as the new contract and guarenteed me the sale. When I got to the shop they sung a different tune. I have taken it up with their manager, and even their Vodacom buyer. I understand terms and conditions but why would a staff member of a huge company give false information?
Nonetheless I still find it awfully strange that a shop like IC cant create their own deals on Dealerweb and a company like DionWired can.
Does anyone know where I can upgrade my contract to a Ipad.(I don't need a phone, have a BB Bold 9900). It seems since the announcement of the newer Ipad 3, the prices for the 2 has dropped and everywhere I phone they have no stock. I am even willing to take a 64G.
Lastly, in comparison to other tablets out there, is the Ipad a good buy? I have one of these newer Ipod Touch and it is great, but I want to start investing more in Apple. I have looked at comparisons between the Ipad and the Samsung Galaxy, as well as Motorola, Blackberry and Vodafone.

I used to be adamant I' would never ever get an apple ipad, but was convinced by a fellow forumite and honestly have never looked back.
I find it much better than other tablets running Android 2.2+ or even Honeycomb.

Other tablets are iPad copies.

I'm now an avid Apple FanBoy.....lol
EVen the wife got an Iphone 4S ...... and cried when Steve Job's died :(

Thanx mate.I have seen what it can do, and comparing it with other tabs out there it's just mile apart. Now the problem is getting my hands on the stock because it seems that no one is carrying the 32G for Vodacom Upgrades, and the ones that do can't give a ETA

Ya I saw. I phoned and they reserving one for me for today, just have to find the time to go get it...thnx

Found the model I wanted at the local Look & Listen today: a white 64GB with 3g. But it was the last one.
