These networks are out of their minds! Why is the mini even more expensive than the regular 12? 36 months for everything!!! Assuming the Pros will be offered over 240 months with 30% deposit required.MTN Contracts Prices Updated

Also thinking the same. Car and Home insurance companies seem to charge about 13% of the phone value per year broken up in 12 months. eg R28 000 iPhone is about R3640 per year so around R300p/m.Sidebar question, what is the best option to insure my new iPhone 12 Pro once I get it?
With a credit card budget facility at 18% it will cost you R1400 over 24 Months instead of 36 Months and in the long run you will pay about 33.5k to borrow the 28k. Still a way way better deal than these horrible contractsIn this instance, cash is King. It might actually work out cheaper getting a personal loan for 28K than selling your soul to MTN!
IF you told me that this was an error posting, where they posted the 24 month contract prices on the 36 month ones, I would be 100% fine with that. But as it stands, I am cancelling my MTN contract and will just buy the device outright nowThese networks are out of their minds! Where did you see this? I can't find any Apple devices on MTN's site.
Here you go. Its on the banner on the MTN homepage, think it's the 3rd or 4th one.Where did you see this? I can't find any Apple devices on MTN's site.

Almost in line with taking out a loan to get the device, but I agree, it is very steep. Cheaper to get it on CC, that way you also get some benefits from it with your bank.R32k for the Mini. No man...

My concern is that esim will likely only be available on contract. But there's no way I'm doing into a contract like that. I'd rather import a dual SIM device if they do that.IF you told me that this was an error posting, where they posted the 24 month contract prices on the 36 month ones, I would be 100% fine with that. What if one takes a sim only contract? no device. That counts right? My concern is that esim will likely only be available on contract. But there's no way I'm doing into a contract like that. I'd rather import a dual SIM device if they do that.
Or just continue without an iPhone.
