Yes I also phoned CouierIt and they also said they only got the orders today.

iStore once again having terrible service for people that pre-ordered. Also **** service to tell the client its out for delivery.

Whats the point doing a Pre-Order when its quicker to get in-store.

I tried to pre-order through iStore online, submitted everything and got confirmation at 00:15 Friday morning last week. Still havent heard anything. Luckily Vodacom was able to hook me up and I got the device this morning

Core Group leaves a lot to be desired.

Literally ever other companies preorders, but ho got their stock from apple, went out yesterday

First went to FOURWAYS mall and they had only 4x 13 pro maxes in 256gb sierra blue and were sold out by the time we were going to buy (arriving at 6h45). Decided to take a drive to mall of Africa at around 8h30 and they had stock still of the sierra blue pro maxes in 256gb guise.

I got there at 07:15 and picked myself up a 512GB Sierra Blue Pro Max.

Either way, I skipped the pre order this year and decided to chance it in the store. And rightfully so by the looks of it.

My old iPhone 12 Pro Max is still transferring data to the new one, keen to see the new 120Hz screen.

I don't know what you are coming from, but I've got the 12 mini and it's just fantastic having a smaller phone after the 11 and XR before that. Battery is the only issue with this one but I believe the 13 mini is vastly improved so might jump onto that when my wife isn't watching as they look pretty similar :p

Mini all the way for me too. I got the 12 Mini for my daughter last year but she couldn't handle the battery so I ended up getting her a regular 12 and I took the Mini. I've had no issue with the battery though so will be happy with any improvement.

Yeah they offered me that only remaining 512gb one … but I know you were on the way so I refused it :)

Yeah, no big issue with the battery either really, it just took a bit of getting used to the change from the duration of the 11 to the reduced time of the 12 mini. I can get through a day but sometimes I’ll chuck it in the cradle for a bit when I get home and it’s at 25% or something.

Sorry for the slight derail folks. Actually to keep on topic I’d love to read experiences of anyone with the 13 mini wrt battery life :)

Geesus, that’s a massive upgrade... probably the best way to do it, all those years of holding out is about to pay big dividends... enjoy...

120hz screen is a game changer. iPhone late to the party but better late than never. Spend a week or 2 on a 90hz+ device and you won’t do 60hz ever again...

Nice. How much was the silicon case?
Got a cheapie plastic/silicon on my XS that has held up extremely well, but not so sure this time round
 
Got my iCare policy and theft insurance emails/sms’s but still no shipping/tracking details
 
If anyone goes past The Glen iStore and they have stock of the iPhone 13 Pro Max could you let me know? They’re my closest iStore but they’re still an hour away, and of course you can’t phone them directly to check stock, and I don’t want to waste a trip. Normally I’d get it locally from Vodacom, but I want to trade in my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I filled in the “contract upgrade preorder” when it opened up last week but, the iStore being the iStore, I’ve had no communication. Thank you!
